PRASAT HIN PHIMAI
Prasat Hin Phimai in Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat) was built in the early 12th century and has been described as the largest Khmer sanctuary in Thailand, and one of the finest examples of classical Khmer architecture. It was once linked by a direct road with Angkor itself. The temple was restored by Bernard Groslier, a French archaeologist.

PHA TAEM AND PHA MON
Pha Taem and Pha Mon, located in Ubon Ratchathani, are two steep cliffs overlooking the Mekong River with a clear view of Laos on the other side. On the cliff’s surface, there are prehistoric paintings dating back 3,000-4,000 years, depicting the way of life of the people who once lived in the area, such as fishing for Buk fish in the Mekong River, and rice farming. Figures of people, animals, hands, and geometric design can also be seen.
